Acqua Alta is an extendible table created by Studio 14 for Colico. The professional collaboration between the designer Diego Bassetti and the architect Andrea Panzieri started in 2005 when they meet each other working for the architecture and design Studio RA.RI. The frame is made of natural solid raw oak wood and varnished steel sheet. Top and extensions in natural raw oak wood.
There is an aluminum telescopic extension system. With an aluminum telescopic extension system, the practical extensions allow using the table on different occasions. Available two extensions of 50 cm. Acqua Alta is a practical extendible table. With its particular composition, it creates an elegant and dynamic atmosphere. It has Venetian origins because, in ancient times, the tables were repaired on the bases with steel supports to be protected from the rain. This particular table is suitable for both classical and modern settings, especially in living rooms and kitchens. The singularity of Acqua Alta is the double composition: top and extensions are in raw oak wood; the four legs are made of solid raw oak wood and varnished steel and ends on steel supports, all of the different heights.
