Flota by LaSelva studio and Iván Zúñiga

Flota is a set of three concrete and wood trays that each piece fits only with its base. It is a collaboration between LaSelva studio and Iván Zúñiga. The studio operas in Spain and Mexico cover ranges of products based on new needs and user profiles, with a great fixation for detail and the study of new materials.

The trays are functional and in modern shapes. The base is made from walnut, and the top is formed with concrete. They could be great accessories for display and storage small items like keys or jewelry. The three trays can work on their own or in a group setting. The idea that each piece fits only with its base comes from the game of poka-yoke. The design is playful, sustainable and minimal.
