Picard desk by Regular Company
Picard desk is a wooden design that has the classic form of those old writing desks, reinterpreted in the spirit of new technological possibilities like 5-axis cnc carving in combination with artisanal handwork. It consists of two parts; the soft body and distinctive legs that are embracing it. The legs are also dismantable.
It is available in 6 different types of wood: oak, walnut, maple, elm, cherry, and pear. Using oil and soaps to create various natural finishes to maximize the beautiful, smooth and rich wood grains. The metal connection can also be ordered in different colors.
The wooden desk is designed by Regular Company, an award-winning multidisciplinary design studio based in Zagreb, Croatia. It was founded in 2015, building upon the work of its co-founders Ruder Novak-Mikulic, Marija Ruzic Vukmanic, Marinko Murgic, Tihomir Filipec and their partners and collaborators, who have been working together on various projects in the creative industries since 2009.
