Wooden Watches by VEJRHØJ

When beautiful wood gain merges with steel and becomes a small watch on your wrist, it does not only show the fine craftsmanship, it binds nature and sustainable awareness into fashion. The classic and elegant wooden watches are created by VEJRHØJ, an independent watch brand based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company merges natural hardwood, stainless steel, and sapphire crystal glass to create designs that are simple, yet distinctive.

VEJRHØJ was founded in 2014 by Janus Aarup, who set out to create a Nordic watch brand based on his passion for design, craftsmanship, and timepieces. Later that year, VEJRHØJ teamed up with the renowned Danish designer, Bo Bonfils, who got intrigued by the challenge of developing a collection of watches that combined wood & steel. The outcome was the VEJRHØJ Nautic collection, which was pre-ordered by customers from more than 38 countries.

Last year, VEJRHØJ launched the Elements collection, which featured a novel dial design and a new approach to merging wood and steel. Shortly, after introducing their new designs VEJRHØJ won the “Brand New Nordic 2017” award for the best upcoming Danish watch brand.
