Disco Headphone by Kuba
Disco is a Brazilian-made headphone with layers of cherry wood and bamboo as the headband. It is designed as a collaborative work by Dan Nigri, Leonardo Drummond and Duda Vieira. Launched in 2016 by Kuba.
Like the best instruments, the headphones are handcrafted. They believe that when products are handmade, they end up carrying the passion of the creators. It was designed with an easily-replaceable parts system that allows the headphone to have an outstanding lifetime. Each part of it can be changed independently, from the leather cushions to the wood headband, which is handmade in Rio de Janeiro city.
The wooden headband brings the headphone into anther levels. It is stylish and you can feel the difference in hand. The texture and material contrast are much more settled. Plastic will never be comparable to handcrafted wooden objects.
