House in Kyoto by 07BEACH
House in Kyoto is a beautiful home with a wooden interior, loft structure and indoor tree located in a quiet residential area in northern Kyoto city, Japan. It is designed by 07BEACH, an architecture and interior design studio based in Japan and Vietnam.
The house has a very open space with small sunroofs in the ceiling. the finish is in the balance between the modern structure and traditional Japanese style. The kitchen is modern and clean, the loft and all the bedrooms and a traditional room with sliding doors and Tatami floor. The bathroom was placed in the middle of the house facing the living room. It presents a minimalistic and natural lifestyle. The tree in the center of the house is very interesting. I know that all my Japanese friends like to have live plants inside of the house, and a tree is much fresher. I personally love the Tatami room with a large sunroof, it will be a perfect play area for the kids, a napping place for the afternoon, and a very comfortable guest room. In addition, it allows natural sunlight to fill the entire house.
