K-1 Stationery Kit by Maxim Scherbakov
K-1 Stationery Kit is a construction set that has a modular system with a wide range of variations and different materials combination including maple, copper and white marble. It is designed by Maxim Scherbakov, the founder of Supaform, based in Moscow, Russia.
The main basis element is a pencil case and other elements are add-ons to it. Every kit part has its own unique function and can collaborate with each other. The fixability enables options that everyone can creatively build their own stationary system.
Maple wood is a relatively soft wood. It can be easily cut in a wavey pattern so each kit parts can stably be locked in with each other like Lego. The woodgrain and wood colour contrast well with white marble and copper, making a functional, decorative and playful stationery kit.
