Marius sideboard by Pierre-François Dubois
Pierre-François Dubois is an industrial and furniture designer based in Paris, who likes to draw simple and clever objects in terms of design or use. Hartô is a Parisian design studio that works closely with designers all over Europe.
The curves of Marius sideboard recall the shape of a ship’s hull while the pattern of the sliding doors alludes to the sails. The Sliding doors allow access from both sides to the generous storage space inside, with one shelf spanning the expanse and a pair of handy cord outlets. It looks like it was inspired by Scandinavian furniture from the 50s. A sturdy piece of furniture with a vintage look will definitely set a beautiful accent in any interior design.
