In addition, wooden cutting can last a long time with good care. Using beeswax rub over the cutting boards’ surface once in few months would be more than enough for maintaining the cutting board in good condition.
Walnut is a hardy, elegant and extremely versatile wood which is perfect for cutting board. It has a high-end and beautiful wood grain compare to maple. Especially, the darker color is much better than lighter color wood; maple or teak after using the cutting for a quit sometime.
