Walnuss Käsereibe is a kitchen tool design for the In-Taglio cheese grater made with walnut and steel. The Italian product designer Lara Caffi created this functional and aesthetic wooden cheese grater.

Noble walnut wood forms the basis, a stainless steel grater does its purpose and a tiny leather string on the glass as the lifter completed the whole design, making every detail elegant and thoughtful.

This attractive kitchen accessory makes a strong visual impact because of the charming combination of materials that unite in a minimal and modern design. The rich and beautiful walnut wood grain is hand-turned to form a cylindrical dish that is juxtaposed with a sleek, mirror-polished stainless steel grater that effortlessly turns blocks of hard cheese into shavings. The walnut dish catches cheese shavings as they fall, making serving a breeze and simplifying the number of dishes needed to be cleaned. The grater is completed with a glass lid fitted with a natural leather handle to keep grated cheese fresh and fragrant.
