Salvia by Murasawa Kazuaki

Salvia is a collection of modern Japanese furniture that includes cabinets, chests, sideboard, and shelves. Most of the pieces are made of walnut, designed by Murasawa Kazuaki, a Tokyo-born Italian-trained designer. The design style is eclectic, creating a mix of contemporary furniture and accessories for workshops around Japan and always designs with environmental sustainability in mind.

“Salvia” is the name of the spice. The designer felt that technology is a hidden taste of the design elements and brings out the uniqueness of each design pieces. All the furniture have a smooth finish and that beautiful walnut woodgrain. It could be a good fit for any kind of modern interior design.
