Root by Seungwoo Kim
Root is a multifunctional product of dehumidifier and air purifier to provide an optimum level of humidity and clean air quality. The idea is to transfer this electronic device into a piece of furniture by giving it a wood finish, designed by Seungwoo Kim, a professional industrial designer skilled in mass production based in South Korea.
The design was inspired by the traditional Korean brazier, people used to have a small brazier in the room to so the heat control the air of the surrounding, and created a comfortable place for comfortable and cosy living quality. The wooden finish definitely makes this dehumidifier and air purifier fits any kind of modern interior design as a piece of furniture that benefits people’s everyday life.
