Book Boards by Sebastian Bergne
Book Boards are wooden boards that handcrafted from various reclaimed wood. It makes each one of the pieces in a different size, wood species, and wood grains. They are unique and different pieces have its own history. Sebastian Bergne, a British designer purposely made those wooden boards in the shape and size of a book. He elegantly branded the piece at one side of its spin. Giving it a minimal design and clean surface so it could be used for everything such as cutting board, serving plates, jewelry display, or even an art object. Interestingly, based on the aspects of those book boards, the designer could be implying those reclaimed wooden boards not only look like books, it actually shares the same aspects of books because of their uniqueness, history, and liberty.
