Ink Desk by Pavel Vetro
Ink is a fold-down desk made of American walnut. It has straight lines and can be used as a cabinet designed by Jasper Morrison, who creates a wide range of household, architectural and urban products, working with well-known international brands.
The desk has an opening a door which is tilted to become a worktop. There are three drawers, led lighting and another compartment with sockets for connecting all kinds of electronic devices inside the compartment. The fold-down desk is not a new invention, like the secretary desk and slant top desk, they were created for hand lettering in the middle ages. The designer also mentioned that the name “Ink” recalls the traditional handwriting done with pen, ink, and paper. It is great to see that modern design has incorporated old technics and essence.
