Elegant Chair Called “Stair” by Andrej Kmeť

STAIR is a minimal chair made with solid oak wood and upholstered plywood seat designed by Andrej Kmeť.  The chair almost fit all kinds of interior design like Modern, Minimal, Comtermpory, Scandinavian and Transitional. It is also good for private and public spaces as well.

The stepped backrest is the central focus of this project because it forms an integral support surface from the inside. The backrest is the transitions between wood fiber directions and it is the connection with the armrests and back legs. Even though the chair is made from solid oak wood, the shape and minimal design give it a lightweight and elegant look.
