Shave Bench by Cedric Breisacher
Shave Bench is a contemporary and primitive furniture design hand-sculpted by Cedric Breisacher, a predominately self-taught craftsman and designer-sculptor based in France. He works around the problematic of local manufacturing and tries to conceive objects in local distribution.
The bench is made of oak from north of France. It has minimalist lines and it was hand-carved with manual tools, the aim is to clean lines in order to come back on archetype furniture like a child could draw. Pure, minimal, simple, it looks being made of a single piece of wood.
